There is something magical about seeing your work printed on paper in a real book!

And that's what drives us (photographers Peter Eastway and David Evans) to organise and publish the International Landscape Photographer of the Year award - and now the International Aerial Photographer of the Year.

It's true that most people will see the winning photographs published online or in our online 'flip-book' - nothing beats a digital pathway for getting our work out to the masses. But the ten award winners will receive a printed copy of the book as a part of their prize - and if you have the interest, you will also be able to purchase a copy.

These days, there’s something very special about a book; the weight of its covers, the feel of the paper as you turn the pages, the excitement and surprise as you look at amazing photograph after amazing photograph. We know how impressed photographers have been with our landscape books, so this remains our vision: to create an aerial photography publication that is so beautiful, every serious aerial photographer in the world will want to be involved.

If your photograph is published in the International Aerial Photographer of the Year Awards book, then you’ll want everyone to know that you’re one of the elite 101 photographers who made the cut. And with eBooks, your fame will know no bounds! We will be promoting the book, but best of all, so can you! Direct your family, friends and fans to this website and they can download a PDF copy for free! Put it on your tablet or your smartphone and share the love! 

Step two is the important one. Whether you're a winner or an admirer, why be satisfied with an electronic image when a printed version can be ordered from our Bookshop - it will be available a couple of months after we announce the results.
